Colex x 120 Capsules

The colon (large intestine) is the site of the final parts of digestion with function including:

• Absorption of fluids to regulate body hydration levels.
• Processing of waste products from digested food ready for elimination.

It is also the site of the largest concentration of bacteria that form the gut microbiome. Many different species of bacteria reside within the colon and have beneficial functions within the digestive tract and throughout the body. Classically trained practitioners recognise that the health of the colon reflects the physical and psychological health status throughout the body.

Nutrigold’s Colex capsule formulation contains L-glutamine (an amino acid that is used as fuel by cells lining the colon tract), Bifidobacteria bifidum (CUL-20) and lactis (CUL-34) species providing 1.25x10⁹ (1.25 billion) Colony Forming Units (CFU) and a blend of natural botanicals including:

• Inulin (Chicorium intybus root)        
• Psyllium Husk Powder (Plantago ovate husks)
• Peppermint (Mentha piperita leaf)
• Pectin (Citrus sp. peel)
• Papaya Extract (Carica papaya fruit extract)

Colex formulation is in a hypoallergenic form suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It also forms part of the Nutrigold Detox Nutritional Support Programme (NC117).

Use: 4 capsules daily with food (2 capsules with breakfast and 2 capsules with lunch) or as directed by a practitioner.
