Glucosamine is naturally synthesised within the body, but is not usually found in natural food sources. It is an important building block for cartilage tissue, a structural component within the skeleton that forms part of the connective tissues in joints between the bones such as the elbows, knees and ankles.

Most glucosamine is manufactured by processing chitin from the shells of shellfish including shrimp, lobster and crabs. This means that many glucosamine supplements are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans or for those people with a shellfish allergy.

Nutrigold’s Joint Support Formula delivers 250mg glucosamine hydrochloride (HCl) per capsule and is derived from corn, so is suitable for people who do not include animal or fish products in their diets, as well as those with a shellfish allergy.

Nutrigold’s Joint Support Formula combines 250mg bioactive glucosamine hydrochloride, 200mg Horsetail Extract, 125mg MSM, 1mg manganese citrate, 0.5mg boron and 0.4mg niacin per capsule in a hypoallergenic form suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Use: 3 capsules daily after food or as directed by a practitioner.
